  • Cabbage

  • Cannabis
    Cannabis is an annual plant found growing wild in many parts of the world in warm climates. It is also widely cultivated. The small green flowers bloom from August through October. The male plant does not flower. The female plant blooms from August through October, producing small, ash colored fruit
  • Caraway
    Caraway is a biennial plant native to North America, Central Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. It is also widely cultivated. The slender root stock, with its white taproot, produce hollow stems that grow to 3 feet, producing fine, feathery leaves. The whole plant is pleasantly aromatic.
  • Cardamon
    Cardamon is a perennial plant native to the jungles of India and Sri Lanka. It belongs to the Ginger family. It grows 6 to 10 feet tall, producing small yellowish flowers followed by the three part capsule fruit which contains as many as 18 seeds.
  • Carrot
    The Carrot is an annual plant widely cultivated and also found in the wild. The wild carrot has a tough, white root that is not edible. The delicate, white flowers appear on top of the carrot stalk from June through September.
  • Cats Claw
    Cat’s Claw is a woody vine that grows to more than 100 feet, winding itself upward through the trees in the highlands of the Peruvian rain forest. Cat’s Claw grows best between 900 to 2900 feet above sea level.

    Catnip is a perennial herb of the mint family found all over the world. It grows 3 - 5 feet tall producing scalped edged leaves with whitish hairs on the bottom side, and white flowers are covered with purple spots, that bloom from June through September

    Cayenne is a perennial plant native to the tropical areas of North America. It is also widely cultivate as an annual plant, growing to 3 feet or more.
  • Celandine
    Celandine is a perennial plant native to Europe and also found throughout the north eastern United States. Celandine grows 12 to 20 inches tall, in damp rich soil along fences, roadsides, hedges, and wastelands.
  • Celery
    Celery is a biennial plant native to North and South America, Europe, and Africa. It is also widely cultivated. In the second year the angular stalks will grow from 1 - 3 feet high, producing white flowers bloom from July through November, followed by the small ecliptic fruit
  • Centaury
    Centaury grows in wooded meadows and along grassy banks. Early in the morning when the sun is shining the small pink flowers blossom.
  • Chamomile
    Chamomile is a perennial plant native to Europe. It is also widely cultivated. It is a low, thick plant growing to 3 inches, producing fresh flowers with bright yellow centers, that look like miniature daisies. Because Chamomile grows rapidly it is often used as ground cover.

    Cinnamon is native to Asia and the West Indies were trees reach 30 feet in height. Collectors strip the aromatic bark from young branches

    Cleavers is an annual plant native to Canada, the eastern United States, and Europe. It thrives in moist areas and along riverbanks. Cleavers is a vigorous growing weed that twists through hedges and shrubs producing a long sticky stem.
  • Cloves
    Cloves is an evergreen tree native to Jamaica, Brazil, the Philippines and other tropical areas. It grows 15 - 30 feet tall producing huge leaves and clusters of red and white bell shaped flowers followed by a one or two seeded berry
  • Comfrey
    Comfrey is a 5 foot perennial plant native to the United States and Europe. It thrives in moist meadows and fields. The black rootstock is fleshy and whitish on the inside.
  • Cowslip
    Cowslip is a hardy perennial plant native to Europe and Asia, and some parts of North America. It is found growing in marshes and along stream banks.
  • Cramp Bark
    Cramp Bark is a deciduous spreading shrub that grows to 13 feet. The reddish-brown bark, produces maple like leaves that turn purple in the fall.
