Description
|
Lungwort is a hardy perennial
plant native to Europe, Canada, and the
northern United
States.
It is also widely
cultivated.
The creeping rootstock produces several
stems which are covered with silver spotted,
dark green leaves.
The clusters of funnel shaped rose or
blue flowers bloom from March through
May.
Lungwort is rather unique in that both
flower colors can be found on the plant at the
same time.
